  I am a traveling nurse who worked a contract at this hospital a couple months after this happened. The hospital itself provides reasonable care. The ER is awful. It took them 45 minutes to wake up doctor in the back to come and see me at 3:00 am. My right eye kept going blind and my right arm and leg kept tingling and going numb. The doctor scolded me for coming to the ER. He took no labs or blood tests. Did virtually nothing and sent me home. The hospital called a few days later to inquire as they too were concerned as to why nothing was done. They conducted an investigation, but did nothing. Many people in Rockdale told me they refuse to go to the clinics or the hospital there because of the history of poor care people receive there. Also, I heard many accounts from people regarding illegal and unreasonable billing practices. I had more than one bad experience regarding care in the ER. Besides working there, I also was a patient in the hospital for a dog bite and I received good care.

  Just go to Cameron if you need to go to a emergency room. Ladies from last night for my sister we're completely heartless & should think about how they talk to people
